Avis Romm

AVIS ROMM received BM and MS degrees at The Juilliard School. Ms. Romm has performed as a solo and ensemble pianist for radio, television and stage throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, South America and Japan. She has, as well, taught and lectured on musical collaboration and chamber performance internationally. Avis performs regularly with her husband, Trumpeter Ronald Romm. They present duo recitals and special pops shows with symphony orchestras as the Ronald and Avis Romm Trumpet and Piano Duo, and with their trumpeter son Aaron as the Romm Family Trio. Ms. Romm is a Steinway Artist.

Miriam Hickman

MIRIAM HICKMAN completed her DMA at Arizona State University where she served as a Faculty Associate in accompanying from 1982-1987. Dr. Hickman has served as a staff pianist for the International Trumpet Guild Conference, International Tuba & Euphonium Conference, International Double Reed Society Conference, and the Southwest Regional Conference of the World Saxophone Congress, in addition to performing in collaboration with some of the greatest soloists worldwide. Dr. Hickman received her Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. In addition to her active freelance career, she is also the organist at Church of the Epiphany in Tempe, Arizona and the owner of Classic Touch Music Academy where she teaches nearly sixty piano students a week.
