RMBI 2024 WORK-STUDY OPPORTUNITIES

The Rafael Méndez Brass Institute is opening three different work-study positions for our week-long session on July 7-13, 2024 at the University of Denver Nelson Residence Hall and Lamont School of Music campus. These positions are intended for applicants who are seeking additional financial assistance and are willing to serve during the institute. Participants and auditors who accept a work-study position are eligible for additional tuition and/or housing funding and will be able to attend RMBI sessions, chamber coachings*, master classes, and other seminar perks as the traditional RMBI attendees, but with additional responsibilities. Friend referrals by work-studies will also receive discounts on top of those already available to all participants.

*Note: Chamber coachings are only available for Participants (not auditors). If interested in attending RMBI as a full Participant by playing in a chamber ensemble, please also submit an audition recording to aid in ensemble placement.

All applicants interested in one of the following work-study positions must submit a cover letter and resume to Becky Wilkins (becky@denverbrass.org). On your cover letter, please state which work-study position(s) you are interested in applying.

Deadline to apply for work-study positions is April 1, 2024. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and will remain open until all positions are filled. Depending on what positions fill out first, we may ask applicants if they could consider helping in different work-study positions throughout the week.
