Audit
Auditors are limited to 50 individuals. Auditors do NOT participate in playing of any kind.
Audit form is included in payment information. No additional form required. Auditor tuition is $375 and includes daily communal lunches.
Scholarships Reservation & Tuition Payment
Full tuition is $675 (without scholarship) and includes daily communal lunches. This DOES NOT include a non-refundable $100 application fee.
Scholarships are available in the amount of $500.
2011 Enrollment begins January 1, through April 30, 2011.
A $275 payment is due with the application. No application will be processed without payment. The $275 payment includes:
- A non-refundable APPLICATION FEE of $100 is due at time of application and is applicable to all applicants.
- A refundable SCHOLARSHIP RESERVATION FEE of $175.00 is due at time of application and is applicable to all applicants.
These two fees apply to all applicants.
Payment by Google checkout and PayPal are accepted. International payments will incur 1% additional charge.
PLEASE DO NOT send ANY OTHER FORM OF PAYMENT. No account is required to make payment credit card. If you wish to make payment by eCheck (direct from your bank account) please create an account with either payment type.
Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations 45 days prior to the first day of the Rafael Méndez Brass Institute will receive a refund of scholarship reservation fee . Cancellations made less than 45 days of the start of the institute will receive a credit for the scholarship reservation fee that may only be applied towards the following Rafael Méndez Brass Institute held at the Lamont School of Music.
Your application fee is non-refundable.
- Dorm and meal plan payments must be canceled a minimum of 45 days prior to the start of the Rafael Méndez Brass Institute to receive a refund. There is no refund or credit given for canceled dorm or meal plan reservations fewer than 45 days prior to the start of the Institute. For 2011 the refund deadline date is May 26, 2011, midnight MST.
A $35 change order fee will also apply to all changes to dorm or meal plan reservations made within 45 days of the Institute.
